Mehmet Bastas

Mehmet Bastas is the Founder, President and CEO of Mikroteks.
Mr. Bastas has been a successful entrepreneur since he received his college degree in Istanbul. He previously co-founded Kale Ambalaj, a manufacturer and retailer of commercial nylon bags. After Kale, Mr. Bastas co-founded Virgo Textile, Inc., an importer and retailer of textile in Istanbul. Virgo was established in 1989. He finally founded Mikroteks and has been managing the company since its establishment.
Mr. Bastas received his engineering degree with honors from Istanbul Teknik Universitesi in 1978.
Outside his business profile, Mr. Bastas likes spending time with his family and reading books on politics and history. In accordance with his business responsibilities, he regularly travels to Europe, North America and Asia.
Sinan Bastas
Vice President
Sinan Bastas is the Vice President of Operations at Mikroteks. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Economics and French in 2006. Until his arrival to Mikroteks in 2010, Mr. Bastas was focused in Finance and worked in numerous cities around the world including Chicago, Paris, London and New York. His hobbies include music, writing, skiing and traveling.
